Speak! Rescue and Sanctuary
Sweet Wilbur and his brother Wally came to Speak! as tiny puppies several years ago. Wally, who is deaf and slightly vision impaired, quickly found an amazing home. But Wilbur, who is completely blind and deaf, never found his forever family.
Over time, Wilbur developed OCD and has had to take regular medications. With his continued challenges, it became more and more difficult to even have anyone consider adding this sweet but challenging pup to their home. Wilbur has been with us for a long time and we know he will likely be with us forever. Even though he never found his forever family, we have vowed to give him a wonderful life. He has already been to the sanctuary to check it out and he can’t wait to live there.
