Speak! Rescue and Sanctuary
Our hope for every Speakling is a wonderful home where they will be safe and loved forever. Sadly, not every pup easily finds their happily ever after. Some dogs need specialized support while others might never find their perfect forever home.That’s why we have been so ecstatic about the Speak Sanctuary. We started work this year on this beautiful nine-acre property that will offer a home – temporarily or permanently – to pups that have a hard time finding their perfect match or those that may never be adopted.
Filled with hiking trails and places to play and run, the sanctuary has spacious spots for dogs to rest, rehabilitate, and have fun. This has been our dream since we began rescuing dogs nearly a decade ago.We are SO close to being ready for our residents to move into the Speak Sanctuary. Our dedicated volunteers have put in countless days and hours working hard to get the sanctuary ready, but we have exhausted our funds and we cannot do some of the existing work ourselves.
We still need an HVAC system and electrical services, fencing and custom gates, and concrete installation. While the sanctuary will always be a work in progress, once these projects are completed, the Speaklings can finally reside in their new home.
